Ashoka Global Health Research Grant

The Ashoka Global Health Research Grant supports medical students and resident doctors in Nepal to conduct clinical and quality improvement research in hospital and healthcare settings. The grant aims to promote early research engagement and strengthen research capacity among future health professionals in Nepal.

The Grant Committee includes Ashok Devkota (Founder), Lila Bhattarai (Founder), Anu Aryal, Santosh Sapkota, Gopal Yadav, and Rajesh Sharma, who serves as Grant Manager. In 2026, Aakritie Sharma and Niranjan Ojha also joined the distinguished panel.

The 2025 grant cycle awarded funding to two resident doctors.
